"Ecstasy" Series
The inspiration for this series comes from the concept of Transverberation that has been expressed as part of Christian iconography, repeatedly, at the hands of the great masters of art history.
Transverberation is the mystical state that saints and saints experienced described as a supernatural internal fire, a pleasure so intense and of communion with God that the body can hardly bear it.
My idea is to show a portrait of intimate, and absolute ecstasy.
I work with images obtained from mainstream pornography that obsessively likes to show women subject to extreme sensations, exaggerated and subordinated to male pleasure.
